Odesa Film Studio

Французький бульвар, 33

The history of this film studio dates back to 1907, when photographer Myron Grossman founded a private film workshop called Myrograph. It was located on a summer estate owned by his brother, along the French Boulevard.

Today, the studio houses a cinema museum that preserves a rich collection of artifacts: books, magazines, and newspapers about film dating back to 1900, film catalogs from the Odesa Film Studio, early film equipment, and a photo album of actor screen tests. Among the most valuable items are the camera used by Oleksandr Dovzhenko for all his films, a glove belonging to silent film star Vera Kholodna, and the iconic coat and hat worn by Gleb Zheglov. Visitors can also see original sets used in fire and flood scenes.
