Passage Hotel

вулиця Преображенська, 34, Одеса

Located at the intersection of Preobrazhenska and Deribasivska streets, the "Passage" Hotel is one of Odesa’s architectural gems. More than just a hotel, it also houses an elegant covered shopping arcade beneath its roof. If you're looking for a unique spot to take a memorable photo — this is the place.

In the mid-19th century, the site was home to a building where Lev Pushkin — the brother of famous poet Alexander Pushkin — once lived while serving as a customs official. The current structure was built between 1898 and 1899, showcasing a refined style with neo-Renaissance elements. Inside, the courtyard dazzles with its sculptures, ornamental arches, and rich stucco decor. It offers a pleasant refuge — cool in summer and sheltered from winter winds.

The hotel features 162 comfortable rooms. The word "passage" comes from French, meaning a corridor lined with shops — and the hotel lives up to that definition. All original sculptures and decorative features have been carefully preserved, and the building is officially recognized as an architectural landmark.
